It's been almost 17 years since I've got to know you and you've always been there since the first day we've met.

Thank you for being with me right from the hospital, a scary place to be at the best of times, and for wrapping me up, keeping me warm as I took my first proper look into this world.

Thank you for being so soft and cuddly as I clutched you in small, soft, fat baby hands as I took my first steps, my mother screaming in horror with a mix of apprehension that I might trip over you and oh god dragging a blanket on the floor could not be sanitary.

Thank you for accompanying me on countless trips all over the world, providing a sense of home, of mine when I was miles away in some foreign place as I snuggled into you and fell asleep.

Thank you for being right there for me to bury my face into cry when I was upset and wiped away my tears.

Thank you for smelling so nice that it's so comforting in this messed up, stressed out world where nothing much is right except you(:
